Another 'Alpine' day in the Cairngorms today. Sunshine and good visibility but above freezing on the tops. Quieter than yesterday, with teams seen climbing The Message, Pot of Gold (?), Hidden Chimney, Aladdin's Couloir, Mirror Direct, The Runnel and towards The Seam as well. Other routes most likely been climbed too.
In Jacobs Ladder today there was some neve but soft, sugary snow as well. Rime ice was melting off rocks which were looking browner during the afternoon. Mirror Direct looked good. Soft snow in other places that had had the sun on it.
