Hi, can anyone recall the quote please (I think it was a Nat Geo editor) where the message was, when the sh&t is hitting the fan, that's the time you need to be taking photos?

Driving me slowly mad.

Cheers,

Colin

Tons of people have said this.

here's one: http://www.andy-kirkpatrick.com/articles/view/getting_the_shot

In reply to Kai:

Kai, thanks for sharing.

It's a specific quote by a photo editor I'm thinking about.

It'll come to me at some random point in the future, no doubt.

Cheers,

Colin

I'm pretty sure both Corey Rich and Cory Richards have said this - though they're not NG editors they've both shot for them. Probably doesn't help you though!
In reply to mlt:
Matthew, cheers. I think lots of people have said something similar to the principle but the words I'm thinking of are pretty unique.

The trouble is I can't remember them

Well if you wait for ' ..when the shit is hits the fan...' you just might be lucky and get a good shot, but then again you won't get many photos!
Sometimes with photography you have to make your own luck or visualise what might happen...!
