Hi,

I plan on climbing the Ben Nevis in November/December and look for co climber(s) who would have already done it in winter conditions.

Appreciate your returns and applications

Cheers

Hello Arno,

Which route do you plan to climb the mountain by?

Hi
I don't have any plan today I must say.
I guess depending on the weather and snow conditions, the best option could differ. .
I have some Alpine summits in my back but I 've never been to the Ben Nevis.
did you already climb the Ben Nevis in Winter conditions ? Which way ?

cheers

In reply to arboue:
In November, the Ben may or may not have sufficient snow on it and/or be in a Winter climbable condition.

November's quite early in the season for Scotland.

You're better off heading to the east (cairngorms) for some mixed routes if you're coming early in the season.

I think the OP just means he wants to walk up the ben to the summit and it might potentially be wintery and therefore is after 'guide'. i may be wrong...

The early season mixed on the Ben is amazing - Coire na Ciste is better than the Norries I reckon - but I suspect Webster is right about the OP's aims.

thx zebide, am open to any option for Nov / Dec timeframe . I would like to make it in winter ...personal choice I would say but I would be more than ok to it if crampons are not needed
Both suit me perfect as long as I can do it with 1 or 2 knowledgeable co climbers !

interested ?

OP = original poster (I think), I.e. The person who started the thread

I'm certainly hoping to be out enjoying early season mixed in November, but will hopefully be on the steeper stuff! Hope you have a great trip though.
