I have two pairs of Raichle boots which fit me like a glove - now they've been bought out by Mammut are they still using the same lasts?

I don't know, but I wasn't impressed with how long my Raichle boots lasted

I imagine so - I was looking at Mammut boots very recently and they all still had a Raichle label on the inside.

I've not noticed any difference. Could it be that the Raichle pair have stretched and the Mammut pair are newer and not stretched?

Neither am I...but they are a fairly lightweight pair. The upper's come away from the sole at the flex point by the ball of the foot. I'm looking for a stiffer pair of new boots so hopefully I won't have that problem.

My Mammut Tetons rip the hell out of my heals, any suggestions that can help apart from buying new boots?

I have some magics and monoliths and I find they have a fairly wide forefoot and average heel.

I got a pair of Meindl Bhutans from my local Blacks in the end. They're a bit long in the toe due to the narrower fit but apart from that they seem fine.
