Snow level in the French Alps

Am off to do the GR5 next week and wondered if the snowy summer had left any of the high passes snowbound? Thinking of the col de Croix de bonhomme, col de vanoise etc.
Any local knowledge gratefully received

Col de la Vanoise is very definitely snow-free at the moment...
