UKH

Been to Carreg Alltrem today and tried to figure out where Civetta goes relative to Pin up. The route descriptions in the Meirionydd guide seem to cover all the same features. UKC gives a clear description of Pin Up but none for Civetta. Can anyone who has done them enlighten me about where Civetta goes in relation to Pin Up after the odd-looking square "niche" that is identified as common to both?

I only have the old brown Tremadog guide to this crag. Did Civetta around 20 odd years ago. I don't remember any difficulties with the line then. Seem to remember the hard cracks directly above the niche. From what i remember it was an obvious line from here. Very hard for the grade though.

There is an obvious line as you say but it could equally to fit the guidebook descriptions of Civetta or Pin Up. The UK description of Pin Up fits the obvious line really well, that left me wondering where Civetta goes
