A group of us coming over from Switzerland between 26 April and 18th May and doing a variety of stuff including Knoydart traverse, Aonoch Eagach ridge and similar and Ben Nevis horseshoe over Carn Mor Dearg (apologies for spelling mistakes)
We are at the mercy of Easy Jet weight restrictions and, since the demise of Trotsky, ice axes not permitted in hand luggage. DO WE NEED ICE AXES AND CRAMPONS or is the snow melting fast?
