Anyone know what conditions are likely to be like over that way today? Driving down this afters...

Thinking of routes like "These Foolish Things" at Craig Arthur, or similar routes at that grade. Have done some of the trad stuff around there, but never done any of the bolted stuff so keen to have a look.

Any suggestions of stuff that might be dry and in good condition today welcome.

Was up at Dinbren yesterday evening. Bone dry and great conditions, Craig Arthur will be fine. It's currently cloudy/sunny here.

These Foolish Things is awesome and 3 stars for the area. Enjoy!

Some other routes to look at at Craig Arthur:

A good warm up:
A Cunning Plan - 6b+ (New route since the guide, left of "The Marsh Flower in the guide)

Routes that are awesome:
Delta Force - 6c+
Oblivion - 7b (A direct on Manic Mechanic)
Sunny Side Up Mix - 7b (Jug pulling through a caping roof at the top of the crag!)
Dance of the Puppets - 7b/+
Relentless - 7b+ (Between Manic Mechanic and Smokin' Gun)

All the above in the 7's are 3 star routes.

Theres an up to date topo on Gary's website: www.sportsclimbs.co.uk
