The public inquiry into the proposed Allt Duine windfarm in the Monadhliath has got underway today in Aviemore. The controversial proposal would see a major development built in wild land adjacent to the Cairngorms National Park.

Landowner Jamie Williamson said today on BBC Highland News that the old dependence on tourism for 70% of Alvie Estate Revenues would be turned on its head with only 30% of the revenue depending on tourism once this development got going.
