Hi

Hopefully off to Llangollen next weekend. Does anyone have any recommendations where to camp? Will be driving so doesn't have to be right near the crags. Also would prefer decent showers and toilets, so not too worried about cost.

In reply to daveyji: (grid ref 223 425) try this place ("WERN ISAF)walking distance from llangollen town and a very short drive or walk to "trevor rocks" (a vast array of quality sport routes and some trad.).the camp site and crags can be found by xssing over the CANAL bridge high up out of town (not far from the ruined castle which is also a good place to visit).ive stayed there, toilets/showers etc .i think the eisteddford is on at the moment so the town will also be very lively.enjoy

In reply to colina: Wern Isaf is a better bet than the big site by the abbey, which is a bit more of a holiday park, and I don't like camping near statics if I can help it.
