Depends what books you are after!

If you are after the classics, then these are public domain and many can be found on Librivox and Project Gutenberg.

Any recommendations for ones on Gutenberg that are well read. I tried to listen to Moby Dick, and a few others but the accent and the reading really put me off and I gave up. It's a really nice idea, though.
