One question: Why is this book so expensive, it is a hardback with about 200 pages from what I have seen, so why does it cost $80+?

In reply to phoenix_k2: Not a limited run as such, but a low print run for the publishers to gauge success/popularity.
This title was remaindered a few years back, but prices have certainly gone up.
So, there is a rarity value, a 14 x 8000er value, it never had a second print run or went to paperback, he was a real hard climber and the guy is dead.
That's why it is the price it is.
