The guide that lost both his legs on Mt Cook is climbing Everest (1st double amputee to be on top of Everest)- but already in trouble, broke one of his legs - hope all goes well for him.
In reply to Simon22: He's rebuilt it with spares - but obviously he'll only have a limited supply up there - knowing how tough it is just to walk at that height - just think how difficult it will be to make running repairs to a technical piece of kit.
