Flying with ski

Hi has anyone flown with lufthansa. We're fed up of paying half term prices with easy jet Nd. Got a good deal on Lufthansa flights. 

Just checking how strict they are on taking skis/boards. We normally take 2 of each in each bag. But the website says your only allowed 1 set.... Do they ever check.

Be good for some intel

I’m pretty sure none of the airlines check so long as ski bag is within weight and dimensions limits. However if the bag goes astray you will only be covered for one pair of skis or board
