Hi
I’m just putting the finishing touches to a new office building at the company I work for. I’m looking to get a panoramic print of the highlands on my own office wall.
Does anyone have any recommendations for photographers who might fit the bill please?
I’ve found a few, but thought I would approach the hive mind before make a final decision over the print.
Thanks
Ken
Colin Prior? I see his prints and photos every time I'm in the Green Welly at Tyndrum.
I have a panoramic print of my Skye Cuillin painting. In a frame it's about 1.2m wide.

I'd also check Paul Webster's work over on Walkhighlands. https://photos.walkhighlands.co.uk/
I run a landscape photography magazine with a lot of contacts... What area of the Highlands do you want a picture form?
Alex Nail specialises in the North West and Fisherfield area and has some amazing photographs, Scott Robertson has some stunning work from Lochaber. I have a photograph or two that are OK (https://www.flickr.com/photos/timparkin). Brian Pollock does great work. Neil Barr has some great work. Dougie Cunningham has some classics.
Joe Cornish is a friend who has some amazing work from all over Scotland (check out the book 'scotlands mountains')
Happy to put you in touch with any of them...

Ahhh perfect, thanks!
Thanks Tim, was looking for something in the Lochaber area as that’s where I’ve spent most of my time (to date).
I'll big up Jack Marris in Applecross... https://www.applecrossgallery.com/shop
And how panoramic are you after (aspect ratio)? winter or not? The classic Lochabers would be three sisters, Buachaille from Beinn a Chrulaiste, the North face or some pano of Mamores/Corries
Dave 'Cubby' Cuthbertson has some amazing panorama's that I'm sure he'd be happy to sell as a print from the North Face of Ben Nevis, Bidean, etc.. He lives around the corner from me and I've helped scan his photographs.

He's got a great pano of the Ben that was featured on this video by Dave MacLeod

Plenty of good suggestions here already. Personally, I think something from Cubby, such as the one suggested, would be more than a little special.
I don't have many panos from Lochaber, although plenty of stuff at more 'normal' aspect ratios (3:2, 16:9, etc.) - link below.

I do have a sunrise pano looking to toward the Lochaber hills from Gleouraich by Loch Quioch and another of Loch Quioch looking toward Knoydart - link below.
A non winter print of Buachaille from Beinn a Chrulaiste would be ideal, I'm flexible on the precise aspect ratio, I have a big blank wall to fill so 16:9 or 2:1 would fit the bill.
Not sure whether you want to drop me an email/PM?
Thanks!
Thanks everyone, there are some really talented photographers on this forum and beyond. It's been a pleasure looking through all the photographs.
I might have to try and find another wall or two!
Thanks
Ken
There are some belters recommended in the posts above.
I've always thought that Rob Durran's photos are amazing, it would be great if he did prints...
Commission wee jamie of this site to do you a painting
Hi have you seen my post re panorama of the Buachaille?
Jamie Hageman, whose work is well known and graces many living and conference rooms.

Thanks! I have got prints for myself and others done and mounted by https://picturegalleryuk.com/ and have always been very happy with the quality and service, though no doubt there are more "professional" options.
Hello. I have a Lochaber panorama you might be interested in;

Plus some other panoramas from nearby;

I've also got a few of the Buachaille from Beinn Chrulaiste (like lots of other folk) but they're not panoramas, e.g.

Hope this helps, even if it's just to decide what you don't like.
Best wishes,
Colin
I am so happy to see a post on this sub-forum about actually putting an image up for display, as opposed to"which camera comes close to my impossible combination of demands"

Something like this?
