Just a quick post to give praise to a few outdoor companies for great customer service recently:

Cascade Designs have just made good on their Thermarest Lifetime Warranty. Just received a brand new (and improved) XTherm in the post, despite DPD's best efforts. I can't praise their products and warranty support highly enough.

Petzl have just agree to send me a new Spatha knife after the retaining/locking pin fell out of my previous one. That failure was slightly annoying as it meant I couldn't close the knife again after stripping old tat from an abseil anchor at the top of one of the fins at Lower Sharpnose.

Honorable mention:

Pongoose. Great communications and thanks to their modular design I've just ordered a new pole for my clipstick rather than a complete replacement. My order was also shipped within two hours of ordering online.
