I'm looking for a light tag line / abseil line to do full length abseils without carrying two half ropes. Will pair with a 50m rope. Something like the petzl pur line, petzl rad line, edelrid rap line etc. I'm rather put off by the costs of these lines new - anyone have one they no longer want?

Yea they're stupidly expensive for what they are, cheaper to get accessory cord/paracord and just do single line rap with pull cord 

Just to muddy the water, what did you think about the Beal Escaper?

I haven't tried the Beal escaper, don't think I want to. It looks and feels so sketchy. I don't think I'd brave it unless it was an emergency.
