Britain?€?s hills, mountains and National Park landscapes are a vital part of who we are. And our enjoyment of them is made possible by paths.
Most of us don?€?t think about the impact we have on the trails under our feet as we use them. But they are more vulnerable than many of us realise. And we all have a role to play in securing their future.
Mend Our Mountains: Make One Million aims to step up to the challenge facing Britain?€?s mountain paths. We want to help raise ?£1 million in total for a range of vital path repair projects within the UK?€?s entire family of 15 National Parks, encompassing England, Wales and Scotland.
Hopefully the work on these campaigns is more balanced compared to the vandalism caused by Fix the Fells on paths like Black Sail. They pretty much levelled the undulations and turned it into a flat motorway. Good luck if this works better though.
