Alps 4000 - The First Non-Stop Ascent of Europes Highest Mountains

In 1994, during the worst summer weather for 10 years, British mountain guide Martin Moran and Simon Jenkins took on the incredible feat of climbing all the Alpine 4000-meter peaks in one continuous journey. Forgoing any form of motorised transport, these two alpinists powered their way across the roof of Europe, propelling themselves between peaks by road bike. The documentary follows the climbers and their support teams through the triumphs and traumas of this record-breaking epic of 72 peaks in just 52-day. Filmed and edited by climbing cameraman Martin Welch.
