My favourite part of Scotland is Assynt and Coigach. So it is a tad ironic that I seem to be turning into an Angus corries specialist. On the other hand, these corries are less than an hour's drive from Dundee. It's hard to argue with that.

Am also turning into a specialist route-namer (I named the majority of the above routes).

Whether skiing or ski touring or cycling or tramping or climbing, I love the Scottish winter. In particular, I like gnarly mixed routes. But ever since an accident in 2008 I don't like risk. Ergo, I am happy to be anyone's belay bunny. So if you want to do something stupidly hard and you want a partner who won't fight you to lead it, give me a shout. Provided it's got gear (I don't do runouts), I'm all yours. On second, I can get up most things up to VII; above that, you might need a winch. I can certainly promise that I won't drop EVERY bulldog I hammer out.

I am not a grade-chaser. What I chase is fantastic days in the mountains. I don't care what grade it is so long as it's a brilliant route, and so long as I can get up it somehow or other.

I am the artist formerly known as Tim (I turned into a girl in December 2014).

About My Photography
Entirely unscientific. But I take so many shots that some of them are statistically almost certain to be OK.
