Rock climbing on and off since I was a teenage. Winter climbing mainly in Scotland since the 1970's. Mountaineering/climbing in Switzerland, Spain (Picos de Europa, Andalusia, Guaddarama, Sierra de Gredos), Norway & Ireland (lived there). I guess as age and interests change I've done little in the way of climbing for some years.

I've also been to the most remote inhabited island in the world and canoed in one of the world's most intact ecosystems - the Barren Lands - Canada. But who cares?
