A crop from a full reflection image. I thought this might make it a more distinctive shot, I quite like the way the ripples are about to get him. As always any comments or critiques, good or bad are most welcome.

looks good upside down as well

Like that it is different and not, "just another mirror photo".
And it's definitely in the detail that makes this photo! Have a 5

A superb shot, well thought out. The only thing that may improve it would be foreground interest on the rock, although that would change the nature of the photo. Still a 5!

You had me going for a minute. Lucky to get the pool so clear. I have never seen it like that. That's 'Photo of the Week' for me!

Very creative, great photo !

Its so clear that you need the ripples to "read" it as a reflection: otherwise it just looks downside up.

Great photo Dan, really original. It makes Lawrencefield look like a pot of gold. Out of interest, how natural are the colours?

Brilliantly thought-provoking. Excellent.

Hi all, thanks for the interest. This one is pretty much as taken, although I added a one stop ND grad filter in Lightroom as the top half had a brighter reflection. Colour is straight out of the camera. I did also boost the ripples a touch to make them stand out. Composition was for a full reflection, it was only after that I 'saw the light'

Where's the belayer? Is his/her reflection behind the rock? Very interesting photo!
Crewey-Si - 27/Oct/08
