There definately bore holes hence the name of the crag as it is quarried gritstone.

You're all wrong - it's caused by the Bora Bora beetle who eat gristone when they can't get sandstone.

actually the holes in the background are from when they blasted the rock when it was a quarry, also there is no way he could hold that position for more than a second and he is about a foot off the ground
