Have you applied any sharpening on photoshop at all?
those walls look very crisp, or is it strait from the camera?

Nice one about Celtic! No sharpening used at all. The only thing I've ever done with PS is clone out a pesky signpost on a photo I took in Glencoe. Everything in my gallery taken by me is a wysiwyg.

nice, in which case have a good score! i find it hard to take really nice pics in the dales although there is alot to go on

Thanks for that-just a pity there wasn't more snow in the foreground to give a true sandwich effect.
