Are there two people on top of the Aig Du Tacul? Is that the Aig du Tacul in the mid distance?
sandywilson - 12/Nov/07
hi Sandywilson. No its the Roc Rognon between the Midi and the Helbronner (sp?)...the two 'people' are in fact the two pylons that carry the cable car across into Italy. But everyone does seem to think they are people.

Was this shot in RAW? I think it can be improved if it was, still a cracking shot though!

Lovely. How long was the exposure? I like the movement in the clouds.

The best image on here for weeks. Absolutely superb. I like the exposure as it highlights the colour in the tent. Well done!

I think exposure was about 25 secs. Had to take it a few times though as was a bit windy that night!

Totally gorgeous and makes mountaineering look fun.It was always a frightening and a physically exhausting proposition for me.
