Awesome shot, what are the properties (shutter ect) did you meter for it or just open it up ? Looks longer that 30 sec
chris fox - 19/Nov/07
Hi chris. Shutter speed at 30 sec, f4. Was on a full moon night hence why it looks so bright for 30sec exposure
jongriffith - 21/Nov/07

MF2005 - 25/Nov/07
indeed it does look totaly magical.
kingie - 25/Nov/07
MF2005: to be honest its been really interesting to see everyones 'reactions' as this isnt one of my favorite shots. Just goes to show that I'm rubbish at chosing which ones i pefer most! I'll see how it turns out in print- alot of night time shots dont work very well on paper vs computer screens due to the luminosity given by your screen. Thanks to everyone for the comments and happy shooting
jongriffith - 25/Nov/07
Beautiful!! I've seen the glacier glowing at night before, and wondered what caused it...
