I take it (from the houses in the distance) that this has been 'tilted' a bit?! If not, it looks a hell of a step slab and a very impressive solo...despite you having a harness on! ;)

some tilting maybe but the route is pretty much a solo as it only has one peice of gear near the bottom anyway

mm, Nick took it and he's the photographer so I'm guessing there's not that much tilting.

Mmmmm, I'm guessing there is. They don't often build houses 15 degrees off level! Zooming in, you can see it's been 'shopped in places - the tilt was probably generated at the time of taking it.
Time to fess up now.....was it really a solo? Not that it matters - I'm just curious. ;)

Yes, it was really a solo...why?

Sorry, just saw the first bit of your comment. You're right about the tilting, but I had to laugh at your 'knowledgeably' stating that it's been photoshopped--the photo was taken on my camera and I am the one who posted it, and I can't use photoshop to save my life!

You think that's tilted? http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=23375 and http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=23374 !
I think the wiggly trees make it very hard to get that shot horizontal, see this as another example: http://www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=63436
Alicia - nice one, good to see you larging it up on the grit as usual.

You can blame me for the tilt - it is about 5 degrees off vertical (I don't normally use such a dinky camera), but that hardly misrepresents the climb. It was an impressive solo, but nothing compared to Alicia's onsight lead of Brown's Eliminate half an hour later! :)

Sorry if I was being a bit of a plonker. I don't know the route, but saw the background and it semed quite off vertical. (looks a nice route btw)
The PS-comment seemed correct from zomibng in - it definitely looks like someone's been at it in the area I suggested. Must just be a quirky bit of compression that's resulted in the effect - only "visible" when you zoom in .
Those other photos are certainly more obvious!

I'm more concerned with the lack of dynanism caught by the photographer. The other picture of Nick soloing, while not as good overall has a much better capture of a 'move'
