Nice pic but it's too obviously a composite image. Would have worked better with a smaller moon, darker sky and warmer light on the mountain. Have not voted because would have given it a 2. However on saying that it's number 1 so what do I know?

Wow, sorry, that IS an amazing picture then. Is the image cropped or were you using a 400mm telephoto lens to get the moon that size?

No worries, it was a 300mm telephoto on a canon EOS400D. The light was great, and it was cold and crisp conditions. About 4pm, just before the sunset. Got a few more with a smaller moon, I'll upload one when I get a chance.
