What's that rock type? It almost looks like shuttered concrete!

Does, doesn't it! There are certainly some keen features on this side of the hill. I understand it to be an acid tuff. I think much of the rock in this area fits in that bracket. Some are very fine grained and uniform and some are rough with bits welded in. Really nice to climb on.
