In my professional life I'm blessed with a world where I get to choose exactly where to put the light and where not, where I can control and shape every last aspect of the light and the world that it interacts with - and I'm blessed with an imagination that is never short of a voice to take fullest advantage of this creative utopia - and yet, sometimes, nature does it better. Nature does it better and more expressively and more meaningfully. And it does it despite being intrinsically blessed neither with motivation, or expression, or intent or purpose. And not only does it do it better, but it does it with such casual ease that you can record it with your phone camera.
I've spent an entire professional lifetime chasing luminary perfection - and nature sometimes just does it better. Oh so very effortlessly. It's infuriating, really.
