Ah, the cunning plan comes to fruition. And a cracker it is.

Certainly the best image by far from the amazing photos coming out of the 4 days of perfect inversion conditions over the Country.

Nice one Robert! Let's see Clach Glas and Bla Bheinn looking the other way please!!!

Thanks for all the comments. Jamie, I actually havn't kept any shots of Blaven because it was just a silhouette into the low sun. I do have a fun shot of a silhouetted figure on Clach Glas which I shall upload. Plenty more shots looking west, north and south though. And from the next three days when I've got them sorted!

Brilliant! I suppose this time of year, the sun rises quite a bit South of East. I was in Snowdonia for the inversions, but I'm not home to sort out photos for another week or so. I have an annoying dust speckle inside the lens which I can't get at on the little Sony RX100. Grumphhhhh!

Not bad! ๐I was wondering when you were going to post this, last picture of the week 2021 or first 2022
jethro kiernan - 27/Dec/21
Jethro, surely you are not suggesting that one can be tactical not just with the day one posts a photo but also with the week and even the year๐
