Tom Davis-Merry on the second pitch of the team’s new route ‘The Argen Spur.’ Named after a local horseman the team befriended during our time at basecamp.
We climbed from the edge of the East Bordlu glacier to link an unknown ridge to the previous day’s summit at 4788m. Unfortunately the rock here is very loose which resulted in the team soloing most of the route with only two pitches of roped climbing on some ice.
