Charlie at the entrance to the snow hole. We had a cheap tent but it failed and through the driving snow an Italian alpini appeared. They were on exercise and living in snow holes. They lent us a snow shovels so we dug our own snow hole. The storm caught out a number of climbers in the Mont Blanc range I believe.
