Just a note on the Photo - We went up on a day when the weather was pretty dodgy but hoped for some clearings in the cloud. As we got to the edge the clouds lifted and this view opened up. I took a panorama of the mountains and a Panorama of the skies so its two panoramas staked on top of each other. I bracketed the shots and did a HDR Pano Merge in Lightroom. I have done several edits of the shot this is a crop from the larger pano that leaves of the left side. The Cloud really started to roll back in as I was finishing the shots so I feel very lucky to have seen this view and shot the photo.

So how closely does it reflect what you actually saw?
Robert Durran - 05/Oct/21
Robert - the scene was changing rapidly as I took the pano. So what I saw was changing as I completed the pano. When I finished the left side the cloud came right in. I had to dehaze that part of the photo and was amazed it shows so well as I thought I had too Misty images. The reason I cropped the very left edge is that did not render so well due to the mist that came in as I took the shotI did darken some of the gullies on the foreground mountain with the brush tool. The photo recreates the drama of what we saw really well it was one of the pics I was proudest of from last year.
