A truly alpine outing, with a 3h via ferrata culminating at 2869m. The ferrata follows the line of the original via normale, on the north-west ridge of Corno di Grevo, meaning it is very climbable and you only need to pull on the cable in a very few, short sections. We used climbing shoes rather than boots to enjoy the climbing as much as possible (lot of slab climbing needing delicate footwork). The via ferrata is considered very serious because of its length, exposure, commitment, and length of the return walk (about 3h, most of which on a horrible scree). Should only be attempted in stable weather conditions. Check at the mountain hut (Rifugio Lissone) about state of the ferrata before embarking on this adventure.
