whith side of the arete do you climb and where do you place the o.5 cam and isn't there some more gear underneath the big boulder?

I suppose hands are mostly on the right, CoG mostly on the left - like in the pic. The small cams are the gear you can see between his legs. The last moves are easy so you're unlikely to place any other.

Does anyone know if this is the usual method of climbing the crux?

Its the way Ben did it, and the way I've seen others do it, though I daresay there may be an easier method for the tall.
