Great capture. Out of the wind, but judging by the icicles it's still pretty cold in there. Nothing a good winter sleeping and bivy bag could,nt handle though.

Thanks, Russell. It's a beautiful spot in winter but in summer can be a dripping, damp, midge infested nightmare. Spent quite a few nights there and love waking to the view.

Yep snow holes are warmer than a frosty windy cave but then rard to find sufficient snow to build one in the Cuillin!
