Garbh Bheinn of Ardgour seen from Glencoe on a frosty autumn morning.

Another cracking shot. Must've been some morning.

Yes indeed, but also partly for a completely different reason. I was so enamored of this developing sunrise scene to the west while driving along the B863 just short of the Glencoe junction that I crossed the centre line. Blue flashing lights behind indicated a copper had been stalking me, unnoticed. Said copper (who, unexpectedly for Glen Coe had a broad South African accent) assumed I must be pished. Before rushing to deploy the breathalyser however, he did me the courtesy of first asking why I had strayed across the middle of the road. I replied that I was mesmerised by the light hitting Garbh Beinn and had become distracted. He simply said: 'Yis, it ees a particly lavly moning eesn't it?' And let me go. Which was great, as I'd had a skinful the night before and was definitely not fit to drive.

Aye too easy to get distracted around these parts Colin and a strained neck.
