This was taken I presume by Simon Donowho after my 1984 accident inside the Freney Glacier with the helicopter arriving somewhere near Monzino where SD had called for rescue. I ve just realised it is quite a sensational view of the Mont Blanc big stuff

Not quite Mont Blanc, but I was helicoptered off Aran Fawddwy some years ago and flown to Bangor in a SeaKing via Llanberis Pass on a glorious spring evening. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the mood to admire the view either!
