Not a photo! But don't know where else on UKC to put it

That's superb! Can I ask who (if any) your influences are?
Lankyman - 16/Apr/20
Hey thanks, I guess my main influence is spending most of my time around rocks through geological observation and rock climbing. I've always liked Jamie Hageman's work so I've taken queues there but wanted to highlight the structure of the rock itself and the snow at triple buttress does this beautifully. I especially like the high contrast the constantly changing landscapes you get when out in the hills in winter.

Ah, had to Google Hageman - one Wee Jamie of course! You've got a Heaton Cooper thing going there too if you don't mind the comparison.

Superb indeed. I hope you don't mind me saying, but it has a science-fiction feel to it, perhaps some distant planet in another galaxy and not the Scottish hills !

My turn to google Heaton Cooper ;) yes I can see there is some crossover. @Pyreneenemec - thanks for the comment, sometimes the hills indeed have another worldly feel to them, I suppose you could call it escapism.
