Great shot Mac, and have a great new year. P.S. I,ll be coming back up to Scotland again soon so if you could arrange a sprinkling of snow on the mountains that would be great

A stunner Mac which looks even better when viewed large.

Agree Garry. The recent changes to the uploading of photos has been worthwhile. Very nice Mac.

Cheers chaps. A bit more snow would certainly be welcome.

Oooo the phantom 1 voter strikes again. You spineless pathetic prick.
IM - 04/Jan/20
And another 1 ('Rubbish'). No doubt from the same saddo using another UKC account. Thus bringing the average vote down from 4.8 to 4.4. Good job, well done you. So what is it, something I said in my rare forays on the forums or is it some kind of pathological competitive voting behaviour? Either way it's pathetic.

Wasn't me. I know what it's like. Considered deleting my account a couple of times. But sod em. It obviously annoys them to hell. Just keep posting your excellent photos.

Lovely photo. The 1 voting seems to happen to many of us and is certainly very irritating. Ideally the average vote would be changed to ignore outliers in some way. A single vote can push a great shot way down the rankings and can then have the knock on effect of fewer people voting for it.

Console yourself that the mean-spiritedness of the down-voter is something they have to live with all the time, whereas you only have to bear it occasionally! In the meantime, I have voted for this photo when I wouldn't normally have bothered to help redress the balance as best I can.

John, Robert and Wicamoi thanks for the calming and wise words. I am no doubt making too much of a fuss about something that isn't all that important. Perplexing to consider what some people's motivations are though. But yes, keeping on snapping away is the answer. Cheers.

In the grand scheme of things it's certainly not important, but it is rather sad that the odd person sees fit to spoil the fun weekly photo competition on here!
