Going through some shots from a wild camp on top of Pen Yr Ole Wen I was trying to work out where the mountain was in front of the setting sun. By looking at a sunset position and panoramic calculator I believe it has to be Slieve Donard in the Mournes, Northern Ireland

You could be right, I have some shots of The Mournes from Trevor, I was told it is very rare to see this.

Cheers all. Worked out that its about 100 miles away. Certainly got lucky with being at the right place at the right time, althought camping out helped.
