For info :- Rob Bratton and his climbing partner Daniel passed away after an accident climbing the Mitteliggi Ridge (Eiger) on 26th Sept 2005. They will be missed.

This photo shows how insignificant we are compared to the hills. There is "An Ode" by Richard Cumberland 1732-1811 about a Cumbrian crag looking down on a man walking by."Now downward do I bend my eye, what is that atom I espy,That speck in natures plan? Great Heaven is that a man?& hath that little wretch its cares. Its freaks it's follies & it's airs, & do I hear the insect say "my lakes my mountains my domain" O weak contempible & vain! The tenant of a day. That's us compared to the hills.
