Ted was a GMC member who gave me a good deal of encouragement in my early days of climbing. I believe he moved to the USA?

Yes he worked for Boeing in Seattle for many years and did return back to the UK about 10? years ago. Passed away 2017?

The date for this photo may be earlier than stated - a GMC Meet dec 29th 1960 to Jan 2nd 1961
