Did you climb this Hamish?
Robbie Blease - 06/May/19
As far as I'm aware the ridge in full is unclimbed, although the very top section has been climbed by a dutch team as the finish to a route up the NE face:

What a magnificent peak (and photo, good work)

This is one of the remaining unclimbed routes on Thalay Sagar. As far as I'm aware, no attempt has been made to access this ridge from its lowest parts--as pointed out the Dutch ascent of the East face arrived on the very top part of the ridge to continue to the summit. Access to lower part would be from either the south side or the SE side--both glaciers are not part of the usual ascent routes. Highly recommend this as an objective for a new generation of climbers to Garhwal Himalaya. From: Roy Kligfield (1st ascent of Thalay Sagar in 1979).
