I was 29 and only been climbing one year. When I saw Joe Brown and Guido Magnone doing this in a BBC spectacular, I never dreamt I would be repeating it three months later. I was climbing with Christian Mollier, behind us another guide (featured) Jean-Marie Germain.

You certainly made up for lost time! Currently reading your book, which I managed to get a copy of. It is a great read.

What a superb set of photographs. Oh, to get my hands on a copy of that elusive book...

What is the book called?!

A Passion for Climbing, based on my diary 1962-2014. But it is a private publication and not on public sale. However I am waiting to hear from Tom Prentice to see if Cordee still have some copies in which case I could let some have a copy against repayment of postage. It was offered to AC, CC, SMC at various times.
