Great shot, Daves back eh. Looks like a climb I'd love to do.

Cracking shot. Think I prefer this zoomed in version to your other long shot, but that too if great and shows the effort involved.

Like that in both images you can see in the climbers faces that this route is no walk in the park, it takes balls to lead a route like this not to mention a high degree of skill and the ability to control your head. Love watching people climb and finding the right angle and position to capture not only a feeling for the climb, but in my opinion more importantly capturing the raw emotion and constration in the climbers face.

Sorry that should read concentration not whatever the bloody predictive text put. Will have to find out how to turn it off.

Nice photo (and ropes) but where's the rack/the gear?!

Beta alert. If you take a look at the other photo taken on the same day as this i put on ukc this week and shows almost the full hight of the route you can see there are 2 pieces of gear in a horizontal very low down and i suspect would,nt keep you of the ground if you came off the first hard moves, there is a tricam placement where Dave is now the question is do you use the pocket you put the tricam in as a good hold or use it for the tricamm and a not so good hold.
