Les and two friends were overcome by a big blizzard after climbing the Tour Ronde Nth the following January. They were not found until May.

I was a a fulfilled climber at this point, we still had to get down though. Eventually, it twigged that if Cassin, Bonatti etc could stand up there, then so could l.
