Well done for getting your camera out. Unusual shot!

Called mountain rescue so my phone was already in hand. Dropped a glove in the process too but had a spare luckily as that would of been a cold wait otherwise. If anyone finds 5 ice screws at the bottom in summer they would be mine too lol

Taking “suffer for your art” to a supremely picturesque new level

"Lower me while I take an epic photo yeh?"
Surprised you weren't rolling up on your way down tbh
GHawksworth - 03/Apr/18

For anyone who's wondered what you have to do to get photo of the week... BTW are those Ice Lines? Did any of your screws stay in?

Your devotion to the craft of adventure photography never ceases to insire
myrddinmuse - 04/Apr/18
Taking Tricadam's advice about just doing the first couple of pitches too seriously?
Robert Durran - 05/Apr/18
Only had one screw in as the ice was a bit shoddy. It came out though but would of only stopped me going down the first pitch. Id of still hit the ledge and broken myself.

Is that your axes just above the belayer? least you didn't drop them if it is!
Pkrynicki1984 - 05/Apr/18

Hi, I climbed it the next day with guide Mike Pescod who was on your rescue, glad your in good spirits and no long lasting injuries. Your axes were better than mine, (thank Mike used he used a lot of effort to get them out, well frozen in!) so used yours to finish the climb, they were great thanks.

looks like you could take your crampons down a size
lukegorman - 12/Apr/18
Terrible fit on those crampons
stevebarratt - 12/Apr/18
I noticed this too. I think they must of moved in the fall tbh. I was trying a bit of a new set up with them. Two points and I had adjusted the toe bail forward. They have never fitted my boots amazingly but always better than this. Im going to get my self an uupgrade to b3 for next season I think lol.
leo-z-g - 12/Apr/18
P.s. I moved the toe bail and then changed the length on the bar to compensate.
