The mat looks a long way down!

This is a E2 route, the mat would only protect you on the first third of the route after that it,s of very little use. the reason it looks so far below the climber is because it is.

Used to climb a lot at Bowden. Think I may have made it over the top just a couple of times. We didn't have mats though lol. Nice photo.
